Cost Control Engineer

Responsibilities:
• preparation of suitable studies, examination and acquisition of information required to draw up the revised estimate based on all relevant documents and sources of information
• enforcement of revised costs, preparation of revised estimate and review the significance of differences in the Control Budget and/or previous survey and shall immediately notify the Project Control Engineer of any change
• revision of Cost Control Records and preparation of Cost Control Reports
• analysis of the prices and verification of quantities
• evaluate extra works, charges, claims etc from Vendors and Subcontractors
• liaise with all involved personnel
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Engineering / Technical degree
• previous experience in a similar position
• Onshore and Offshore Petrochemical Projects would be a plus
• experience in developing, implementing, preparing and executing control procedures for Cost Management
• experience of working in a multicultural environment
• experience in training graduate staff

• working knowledge of computer based systems including Excel, Word, Microsoft Office PowerPoint or equivalent packages
• familiar with cost probabilistic analysis and associated software; knowledge of Primavera software would be a plus
• good knowledge of English language
