TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER(ENGLISH&FRENCH)

- Engineering degree ( Preferably in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation field);
- Proficient in English;
- Good working knowledge of French language;
- Proficient in the use of MS Office(Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Previous experience in industrial sales/technical marketing/technical support is an advantage

Job role:
The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to customers, field sales force all over the world on select product lines by phone or email. He/She acts as a liaison for field sales force with engineering, production control and marketing and maintains up to date information on product lines, standards and codes applicable to those lines.

Responsibilities:
- Support Internal and Field personnel with all product line questions( e.g. product applications, suitability, substitutions, cross references and installations according to the code requirement);
- Responsible for various aspects of select product lines including interface with marketing, engineering, quality, quotations, customer service and manufacturing;
- Communicate significant product line issues to the field sales force and customers;
- Maintain files on competitors, new products and electronic cross references.
