Embedded Software Developer

We expect from you:
A bachelor's degree or a master of the technical colleges is required. At least two years of experience in programming, requirements engineering and making critical decisions in the software development process is mandatory. Key competencies are Unix/Linux, C, C++, UML, realtime, Python, VxWorks.

In addition, we expect you to:
have solid understanding of design patterns and methodologies
ensure the overall integrity of the software architecture and validate it against the system specification;
optimize both the requirements and resource consumption;
think in terms of solutions for the customer and best practice;
be proactive, decisive and independent;
be a strong communicator with a pragmatic attitude;
be a real team player with quality orientation;
be able to work agile and effective;
have good knowledge of English.

For our customer we are going to design, implement and maintain the software that will run complex lithographic machines. Our Embedded Software Developers are facing several aspects of nature like gas, fluids, optics, mechatronics and more at the highest speed and accuracy. A huge code base is maintained and under strict configuration management in order to provide maximum commonality between different high tech machine types.
You’ll be a member of multidisciplinary team – software, mechatronics, optics, electronics – and since software is an integrated competency, your work will bring essential added value for the customer. You’ll be responsible for creating clear specifications, making the efficient design choices and “work your magic” by implementing the design.
