We need you as a dynamic and motivated employee to help us extend our business in Timisoara site.

To develop software in accordance with the V-cycle development process/methods. You will be able to work in all areas of software development not only in one specific functionality! You will have the chance to work in Active and Passive Safety through airbag systems and also cutting edge video processing technology in Night Vision systems! We are pround to be part in state of the art technologies such as AUTOSAR, FLEXRAY, ISO 26262 and exquisite tools.

Required skills:
1. "C" language programming skills;
2. Experience in SW Development for embedded systems;
3. Good microcontrollers understanding;
4. Experience with Real Time Operating Systems;
5. Knowledge about Communication protocols;
6. Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities;
7. English – speaking and writing level;

Responsabilities:

1. Implement embedded software (C language) to operate on 16-bit & 32-bit microcontrollers by following the SW Develpment process (specification, design, coding, debugging,testing);
2. Debug your SW, integrate it into the project, analyze bugs and perform necessary corrections;
3. Integrate SW from other developers or 3rd party SW into the project;
4. Analyze & implements change requests;
5. Modify existing software to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces, improve performance or optimize implementation;
6. Estimate & track your own work & report periodically to the team leader & SW project manager
7. Interface with other Autoliv Electronics teams in a supplier / customer relationship
8. Training (mentoring) new colleagues
9. Give architectural choices and recommendation

You would work in a multi-language enviromnet and have the opportunity to travel to the partner sites (Linkoping - Sweden, Paris - France, Dachau - Germany).
