CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
- Experience with embedded Linux in a development role: familiarity with traditional Linux tools and debugging support for a major CPU architecture (ARM, MIPS, x86, PowerPC, etc.);
- Familiarity with kernel programming and debugging, experience with coding device drivers in an embedded context;
- Familiarity with several embedded Linux distributions;
- Keen intellect and problem-solving mindset;
- Concise and coherent communication with colleagues;
- Positive track record of customer interaction, both support and needs analysis;
- Strong history of flexible collaboration in a high-powered, dynamic global design environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Fluency in English; |
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
The successful candidate will be a part of a small team to target an existing embedded Linux distribution to the PIC32 architecture. Initially, this includes:
- Kernel programming and debugging;
- Writing drivers for PIC32 peripherals for existing Linux subsystems (e.g., TCP/IP);
- Creating appropriate documentation for the board support package;
- Low level debugging experience;
