Software Development Engineer in Test for RAD Studio Database

Skills and Experience Required
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, FEAA Business Information, or related field
• Attracted by programming and technology, with strong analytical skills, and a desire to make development products better
• Experience as software developer or tester is a plus
• Good understanding of OOP fundamentals,
• General understanding of SQL, programming abilities is a plus
• General understanding of programming languages and frameworks such as Delphi , C++, .NET
• Ability to analyze and write code in C++ or Delphi desired
• Good communication skills

Software development engineering is a challenging position that combines software development and testing methodologies to certify products for release. This position is involved at all software development lifecycle phases of a project. Responsibilities and Activities
• Be responsible for running and developing a comprehensive set of database functional tests that exercises RADStudio database technology and features such as DBExpress, DataSnap, and VCL Database controls against many server architectures such as Oracle, MSSQL, InterBase, MySQL, and DB2.
• Learn and build automated tests to ensure high quality products
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Use programming and software test engineering tools for functional, performance, and stability test development
• Report bugs and verify fixes
• Contribute to smoke, functional, and regression tests
