Senior Java Software Developer (Iasi)

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Good algorithms and problem solving abilities
• Working knowledge of design patterns, object oriented programming, object oriented design
• Team player, able to coach and mentor a team
• Passionate about software development
• Good communication skills in English is a must
• Experience with database programming such that Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase is a plus
• Working knowledge in J2EE with at least one major application server is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile development process is a plus, otherwise training is provided
• Experienced with Eclipse-based technologies, such that SWT, JFace and RCP is a plus

As a member of our Java development team, you will have the opportunity to use your skills in software engineering to contribute to future releases of Embarcadero products. You will be involved in all aspects of the Agile software development process, including: participation in requirements discussions, design, development, defect fixing, performance tuning. This position requires extensive collaboration with other teams within Embarcadero. As you gain experience and demonstrate skills, you will be given the opportunity to broaden the scope of your role.
