.NET Software Development Engineer in Test IDE Team

Join the Embarcadero testing team to help build compiler and associated tools. Contribute as a software engineer in test using latest test development tooling.

Skills and Experience Required
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, FEAA Business Information or related field
• Attracted by programming and technology, strong analytic skills, desire in making development products better
• Good OOP fundamentals understanding and programming skills desired
• Knowledge of Delphi.NET desired
• experience using or abilities in understanding C#, VB.NET and/or Delphi.NET is a plus
• knowledge of .NET CLR desired
• knowledge of .NET GAC desired
• Good knowledge of windows operating systems and associated APIs
• Good communication skills
• Good teamwork skills
• Good problem solving skills

Work in agile, collaborative environments where there is always something new to learn, tools to develop and build, and constantly improve your skills as a software developer and tester.

Responsibilities and Activities
• Be responsible for running and developing a comprehensive set
of functional tests that exercise the Delphi Prism product language features.
• Build your skills and expertise in Delphi.NET language, and it’s interaction with the .NET Framework becoming a key member of the development engineering team
• Learn and build automated tests to ensure high quality products
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Use software test engineering tools for functional, performance and stability test development
• Report bugs and verify fixes
• Contribute to smoke, functional and regression tests
