Market Research / Sales Assistant

Essential requirements:

a) Good English skills
b) University student
c) Preferably a person with some knowledge of the principles of market research supported by some commercial experience
d) Good report structuring and writing skills
e) Good computer skills, Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
f) A good level of commercial awareness
g) A high level of self-motivation
h) Computer with access to a good Internet connection

Main responsibilities:

a) Undertake market research into EU and Russia for identified products consumer electronics (CE) retailers and distributors, mobile phone accessory distributors, CE megastores etc.
b) To start with, desk research from own computer with good Internet connection
c) At a later point, telephone interview, and help with finding a local office or company who can offer desk space and telephone lines
d) Register potential customers in contact database, emailing promotional material, creating mailing lists etc. for publication and sale to EU and Russia
e) Identification & development of related business areas in line with company objectives
