REQUIREMENTS:
Education
•University degree in an appropriate field (accounting, finance, business administration)
Experience
•3 years experience in Finance or Business Administration
•experience in a supervisory position
Skills
•Excellent knowledge of IFRS/IAS
•Good knowledge of Romanian accounting system
•Excellent knowledge of budgeting methodology
•Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Romanian
•Good knowledge of SAP-FI/CO

Abilities

Our client is a leading international company of branded consumer products for skin and beauty care. In order to gain a strong position within the global competitive environment they have extended on the Romanian market and they are looking for a Chief Financial Officer.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The purpose of the Chief Financial Officer is to manage cashflow, budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting of the company in an effective and efficient manner in order to maximize business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial
•Manages preparation of Annual Budget, reviews results against plan and recommends adjustments of the company ‘s budget.
•Manages cashflow and bank relations to maximize returns.
•Manages financial analyzes and recommends specific measures to increase profitability.
•Manages forecasting and analysis section within Financial Department in order to provide accurate financial information of the company for internal and external clients.
•Prepares capital budgeting for short and long term projects..
•Identifies and resolves any exceptions to the financial process or problems that occur.

Reporting
•Prepares all the reports and forecasts on the company’s financial activity as required by investors.
•Verifies and summarizes financial performance reports and forecasts to meet management needs.
•Prepares weekly and monthly financial reports according to established criteria.
•Prepares weekly reports on the sector’s activities and progress towards achieving objectives.

Auditing
•Supports internal and external auditors during the auditing process.
•Ensures archiving according to established procedures.

Development
•Develops short-term projects and assigns responsibilities in order to increase department’s effectiveness and efficiency.
•Manages preparation and updating of procedures for the financial department.

Planning
•Establishes strategic, tactical and operational objectives for the department.
•Prepares monthly work plans with accompanying objectives.

Other
•Approves expenses within established levels of authority.
•Manages projects assigned by the Managing Director
