Customer Support Engineer

The ideal candidate should have:
- A University degree preferable in Computer Science or associated
- Help Desk or Technical Support experience is an advantage
- 2-5 years hands-on experience with computers
- Good knowledge of Linux and/or Unix, and Windows
- Experience in using and administrating database servers
- German language skills sufficient to conduct technical support and training in these language
- Customer oriented telephone and email/chat abilities that respond quickly, competently and patiently to customer requests
- Know how to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Ability to develop technical documents and to deliver instructional training
- Problem solving skills: gathering information, evaluating options, and offering good solutions
- Project Manager skills
- Availability to work abroad in Vienna half of the year

- Plan and lead software deployment at customer site
- Coordination with the partner companies
- Manage and resolve service issues logged by customers and partners on deuromedia products and contribute to proactive support activities according to product support strategy and model
