DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER & CIVIL ENGINEER

We seek a person with the following skills & abilities (in no particular order of individual importance) / Cautam o persoana cu următoarele capacităţi şi abilităţi (ordinea de mai jos nu reflecta importanta)
- Graduated from a technical university or technical college in the civil field, hydro technical specialization preferred. / Absolvent al unei universitati tehnice sau colegiu tehnic în domeniul civil, de preferinta specializarea hidrotehnica.
- At least 5 years experience, 3 years in similar position./ Cel puţin 5 ani de experienta, 3 ani pe o poziţie similară.
- Experienced in the in the field water & waste water, i.e. drinking and waste water treatment plants. / Experienţă în domeniul apei potabile si reziduale, ex: statii de epurare apa uzata si tratare apa potabila.
- Experienced with the respective Romanian legislation (Law 10, Law 50 etc.) mandatory. / Experienţă obligatorie in legislaţia românaneasca respectiva (Legea 10, Legea 50, etc)
- Excellent written & spoken, technical & contractual English. / Limba engleza tehnica si contractuala la nivel avansat, scris si vorbit
- Excellent written & spoken, technical & contractual Romanian. / Limba romana tehnica si contractuala la nivel avansat, scris si vorbit
- German is a plus./ Limba germana constituie un avantaj
- Team player attributes, but with an ability to take control when required. / Abilitate de a lucra in echipă, dar cu capacitatea de a prelua controlul atunci când este necesar.
- Openness and honesty. / Deschidere şi onestitate
- An ability to admit when mistakes are made, rectify them & learn from them. / Abilitatea de a recunoaste atunci greşelile, rectificarea si invatarea din acestea.
- Good people skills – both internally & externally. / Abilitati de a lucra cu oamenii - atât pe plan intern cat şi extern.
- Ability to travel throughout Romania (up to 100%)./ Disponibilitatea de a călători în tara (până la 100%).

- Overall responsibility for the civil works in our EPC contracts, executed either by Consortium or Sub partners in the field of drinking and waste water treatment in the required quality within the available timeframe and within the available budget. / Responsabil general pentru lucrările civile în contractele noastre EPC din domeniul tratarii apei potabile şi uzate la calitatea solicitata si în intervalul de timp disponibil cat şi în cadrul bugetului disponibil
- Reporting to the Project Manager and Team Leader. / Raporteaza Managerului de Proiect si Team Leaderului.

Tasks
- The job involves (in no particular order of individual importance): / Postul implică (ordinea de mai jos nu reflecta importanta):
- Supporting the Project Manager on Site in the daily management processes to ensure the project success on time and within budget, meetings with client and partners etc.; / Sprijinirea Managerul de Proiect privind procesele de management de zi cu zi ale santierului pentru a asigura succesul proiectului la timp şi în limitele bugetului, întâlniri cu clientul şi parteneri, etc;
- Supporting the detail design process from civil works’ point of with all it’s interfaces in-between the different parties; / Susţinerea procesului de proiectare in detaliu din punct de vedere civil cu toate interfetele sale dintre diferitele parti.
- Optimising Design from civil works’ point of view together with designer and partner; / Optimizarea proiectului din punct de vedere al lucrărilor de construcţii civile împreună cu proiectantul şi partenerul;
- Arranging inquiries for local civil companies for smaller works; / Cereri de oferta pentru companiile locale civile pentru lucrări mai mici;
- Supervising the civil construction works. / Supravegherea lucrărilor de construcţii civile.
