Candidates should be driven, dynamic and resourceful, with very good interpersonal skills. Ideally, the candidate should have 5+ years of experience in expatriate related tax consulting or compliance (advanced level of tax technical skills in personal income tax and social security), be able to manage and develop a small sized team (up to 10 professionals) and promote successful practices in engagement management, client relationships and team work. Candidates are expected at minimum to speak fluent Romanian and English.

Our Global Employer Services (GES) team provides our clients with personal income tax consulting and compliance services, social security planning and compliance and consulting on tax efficient remuneration structuring services and immigration services. We offer comprehensive tax services in the area of international assignment of employees to Romania and abroad, focusing on costs and administration optimization.

The GES practice in Romania is well positioned for growth and a strong, seasoned team leader is needed to take advantage of the current client accounts and market opportunities.

Therefore Deloitte Romania's Tax practice is looking for an experienced professional to manage the GES team and day-to-day operations from the position of Manager.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist and advise a portfolio of reputable clients on expatriate related personal income tax and social security consulting and compliance matters;
- Coordinate engagements;
- Supervision of more junior consultants;
- Establish excellent working relationships with client personnel;
- Assist the GES group leader on financial and team management issues;
- Active involvement in business development initiatives.
