Senior Tax Consultant (Apply online on www.careers.deloitte.com)

To support our growth in Romania, we are currently looking for our Tax practice Senior Tax Consultants.

As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be part of a young and enthusiastic team that will allow you to develop both technical and managerial skills. Your focus will be placed on reviews of tax status of companies (profits tax, VAT, withholding tax, income tax) mixed with advisory projects.

Technical and Professional Responsibilities:

- Support partners/managers in identifying scope and extent of work;
- Review / prepare reports in accordance with the relevant legal framework;
- Follow up outstanding matters/issues and ensure timely delivery of work;
- Plan, direct and complete the activity of projects
- Organize assignments for the Staff members under his/her supervision;
- Responsible for the on-the-job training of Staff on their engagement ;
- Make recommendations involving technical matters;
- Liase with clients to resolve tax issues in order to meet client requirements.

Qualifications:

- Solid background in tax and/or accounting (Romanian Accounting Standards and IAS are an advantage)
- Certified Accountant or similar qualification is an asset (e.g. CA,CPA, ACCA, licensed auditor)
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a medium size or multinational company (a similar organization is a plus)
- Fluency in written/spoken English is a must, any other language is an advantage
- Good computer literacy (MS Office application) and excellent organizational, communication, writing and teambuilding skills
- Real drive and enthusiasm to work in a team, as well as exceptional commitment to client service
