Area Sales Manager for South-East Central Europe

We believe the suitable candidate will have the following profile:-
· Able to converse fluently both orally and in writing, including dealing with technical/ engineering related matters, in both Romanian and English. A working knowledge of other Eastern European languages would also be a distinct advantage.
· Be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a sales or applications role. Ideally this should include experience of selling capital equipment into manufacturing companies or operating in the surface mount market sector.
· Demonstrate a sound understanding of Surface Mount Technology related through to board assembly engineering, together with knowledge of the screen printing process and the mediums and materials involved.
· Demonstrate a good track record of achieving or exceeding targets set, through individual effort or through a team approach.
· Demonstrate competence in the following general aptitudes/skills: negotiation; influencing; commercial awareness; interpersonal and planning/organising.
· Be willing and able to travel extensively throughout Romania and the surrounding countries.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes or similar.

Following an internal move, we are seeking an Area Sales Manager to effectively manage the sales of all DEK products and services (Print Platforms, Engineered Products, Distributed Products, Training etc) in primarily Romania, but also a number of other Central European Countries as well. Reporting to the General Sales Manager for Central Europe, you will be tasked with promoting and realising the growth of the established platform and further developing the area by acquiring new customers. Ensuring tailor made solutions are delivered to the customer, you will liaise closely with our Product Managers to develop products which meet our customers’ needs. Performing sales demonstrations either in-house or on site is also part of the role.
