Data Mining Senior Analyst

• Should have expertise in data modeling/mining and the overall business objectives of analytical activities, exposure in Telecom domain prefered.
• Strong quantitative background in econometrics, applied statistics or operation research.
• Experience in providing analytical CRM or Marketing analytics solutions, and expertise in applied statistical techniques & mining algorithms
• Should be well versed with data mining tools such as SAS Enterprise Miner or SPSS Clementine
• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL
• Detailed knowledge of working with Oracle Databases and experience of working with large datasets / manipulating large volumes of data

• Delivering data modeling/mining projects through to a successful conclusion, meeting requirements, delivering to time/budget, managing expectations along the way, etc.
• Using effective communication skills to converse with all levels of management (both internally and externally) and hold their own in detailed project/technical related discussions
• Using data validation techniques and applying them logically dependent on the nature of the data and the context with which it is to be used before delivery
• Formulating and delivering to reliable project plans which contain realistic delivery dates and demonstrating an awareness of how long each item takes to complete
• Using a pragmatic approach to solving business problems, calling upon all known resources for help/assistance without direction
• Articulating any difficulties associated with the project deliveries/dates to stakeholders, identifying potential issues early and proposing possible solutions/workarounds, as appropriate
