INTERNAL FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - BANKING

For our client, a leading financial services provider with a footprint in 60 countries worldwide, operating in Romania for more than 10 years, CVO Finance Recruitment is looking for an INTERNAL FINANCIAL CONTROLLER. He/she will perform the internal control function within Finance Dept in relation to SOXA, Account Ownership and Reconciliation and other control dimensions.

Specific Responsibilities:
 Ensure proper and timely co-ordination of the activities related to internal control at local level (e.g. SOXA and other related processes);
 Ensure proper and timely co-ordination of the activities related to Account Ownership and Reconciliation (AOR) policy, Opening and Closing of impersonal accounts procedure including monthly review of impersonal accounts opened and closed;
 Ensure proper understanding of the dedicated application for AOR (RMT); cover the role of RMT Administrator;
 Ensure implementation of the process description paper for activities undertaken in Finance; ensure periodical updates and quality reviews;
 Ensure coordination of periodical review of AIM according to ROC (Regulations on Organization and Control);
 Ensure proper implementation and monitoring at local level of different head office Finance policies in cooperation with other divisions from department;
 Participate in projects as initiated by HO or by CFO
 Coordinate the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for Finance function
 Support Financial Controller and CFO in the co-ordination of the periodical internal audits; co-ordinate the clean-up process of audit findings;

 University Degree (preferably in Economics)
 Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in a bank: Audit, Control or Accounting Department
 Good knowledge of banking products
 Good knowledge of banking processes and of the controls required around these processes
 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
