Java R&D Engineer (Portugal / Bucharest)

Critical Software, a software engineering company with a strong presence in the international markets and high growth profile is looking for candidates to integrate its engineering teams working in Coimbra, Porto and Lisbon and Bucharest.

The sucessfull candidate will receive a 6 month training in Portugal (Coimbra) and then will be relocated to Bucharest office.

The sucessfull candidate will be involved in high demanding and very interesting research & development projects with clients like: NASA, ESA (European Space Agency), European Commision (Networking behond 3G, 4G), Ericsson, Vodafone, EADS...

Responsibilities:

Software design, Software development and Software testing

Qualifications and Experience:

Software Engineering or related academic degree (minimum required is bachelor);

Solid Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following software technologies:
J2EE/J2SE/J2ME, Databases (MySQL, SQL SERVER, ORACLE)

Technology skills across application software (including OOP) and UML;

Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Must have good documentation skills (mainly English).
