User Interface Specialist

Professional background:
• Proven record of designing user interfaces; experience in dealing with complex UIs is an important plus;
• Web design skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• Good understanding of internet email concepts
• Experience in web development technologies:
o HTML & CSS;
o Javascript;
o understanding of server side programming concepts is considered a plus;
• Excellent understanding of web trends, web browsers, web usability principles and user interface design.

• Strong creative and visual skills with an eye for detail;
• Ability to translate business & technical requirements into innovative user interfaces;
• Ability to work in a team as well as alone once the project objectives have been defined;
• Good interpersonal skills;

As a User Interface Specialist, you will:
• Be part of the Product Management Department and participate in the creation of:
o GUIs and graphic elements design and maintenance for web based applications;
o Functional prototypes, specifications & requirements for UI designs;
• Work closely with the Web Development team by:
o Adapting graphic elements to the web development technologies used;
o Providing guidance for the implementation of the design and prototypes.
• Produce accurate and high quality work;
• Work with tight deadlines.
