PURCHASE MANAGER

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the effective management of all transactions related with the purchase of goods from external suppliers

Qualifications Requested

• University degree
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar position – imports / exports / distribution business (in chemicals represents an additional asset)
• Good command of Microsoft Office
• Good command (written and spoken) of the English language - precondition .
• Ability to work in a team or individually
• Target oriented


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process Purchase orders from Sales,
• Controls the accuracy of data in orders for the appropriate preparation of replenishment orders to supplies,
• Prepare orders to suppliers with responsibility on transportation terms and on delivery times,
• Controls order delivery ex-suppliers and informs Logistic for appropriate planning and Sales for appropriate Customer Service,
• Responsible for all transactions related with efficient communications with suppliers in co-operation with Sales and Quality,
• Responsible for all transactions related with efficient handling of the order in co-operation with Accounting,
• Controls all transactions related with the delivery of the goods to Logistics, such as clearance and domestic affairs,
• Prepares appropriate reports for the control of Purchase Process according to the requirements of existing Management System
