NAVAL ENGINEER

Education: MSc / BSc Naval Architecture/Mechanical Engineer
Disciplines: Naval Architecture, Structural design, Hull Design, Hydrodynamics, Machinery and Ship-systems, hopefully majored ship and/or machinery system design.

Experience and other qualifications:
- Preferably 5 years experience in an Naval Engineering environment;
- Familiar with relevant engineering CAD / FE / NA calculations, ;
- Good command of the English language both spoken and in writing;
- Interpersonal skills;
Software skills:
Tribon (advantage), AutoCAD 2D-3D (a must), Nastran, Ansys, Rhino 3D, MicroSation, Nauticus Hull, SafeHull, etc

Activities: concept and preliminary ship design; hydrostatics, weight control and stability, structural & FE engineering, E&I engineering, HVAC engineering, explosion and shock response assessment, marine system engineering, arrangement drawings and isometrics by using 2D and 3D design tools.

Project Locations: Romania and abroad.
