IT MANAGER

- IT and telecommunications infrastructure management
- To carry out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with company system, security policies and applicable law
- Investigation of network problems and implementation of solutions
- Pro-active system performance measurement and analysis including consistent error investigation
- Ensure communication links are stable and the network security and the integrity of the system
- Managing the network infrastructure, including routers, hubs, switches and cabling
- LAN trouble-shooting and liaising with Internet Provider
- Investigation of user problems and implementation of solutions
- Routine network administering tasks and troubleshooting for Microsoft file and print servers
- Maintain directory structure and integrity and appropriate permissions for users
- Managing and troubleshooting of Back Office User Profiles Access Control and e-mail accounts.
- Ensuring consistent operational e-mail provision.
- Monitoring and logging daily backups, changing tapes and ensuring safe-keeping of media.
- Ensuring the physical security of software licenses.
- Monitoring that the anti-virus software on workstations are up to date.
- Managing the movement and re-installation of all IT equipment.
- Keeping good connections with hardware suppliers. Researching new hardware options.
