| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Education :
1. Bachelors of Science in Manufacturing Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering
2. Related hands-on experience may be considered acceptable
3. Masters Degree in Business beneficial.
Experience Desired :
1. 5 to 10 years Manufacturing Engineering experience or
2. 5 to 10 years Quality Assurance or Supplier Quality experience
3. Other areas of experience considered to be helpful:
> Supplier Development
> Supply Chain Design and Implementation
> Logistics in the EU environment
> Commodity Management strategies

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Primary technical responsibilities :
1. Research and identify appropriate suppliers for industrial commodities (castings, fabricating, machining, plastics…) for the Company’s three divisions. Emphasis placed on leveraging the activities of all three divisions for these shared needs.
2. ACE: Expert dedicated to supplier lean implementation VSM Events. Follow ACE methodology notably for supplier management (scorecards, business reviews…)
3. Supply Chain: work in order to optimize supply chain for the divisions between Romania and factories > Supplier Logistic Center
4. Select the appropriate supplier/suppliers for commodities based on the target supplier profile, capabilities, and capacities and part + service specifications given by the Company.
5. Contract: manage contracts with suppliers.
6. Support the manufacturing process development and quality needs of the supplier and the Company after supplier selection and during prototype manufacturing. Insure timely delivery and quality levels during the early phases of supplier development. Qualify the supplier processes and product prior to production.
7. Continue supporting the manufacturing process development and quality needs of the supplier and the Company after the prototype phase and into the production phase. Insure timely delivery and provide frequent source inspection and approval of all production shipments prior to shipment from supplier.
8. Serve as the primary point of contact between the selected suppliers and the Company on all sourcing project activities including commercial and technical requirements.
9. Insure suppliers meet production deliveries as scheduled.
10. Provide Romanian/French/English translation support if necessary.
11. No commissions from suppliers are allowed.
Secondary responsibilities (with support from the Company) :
1. Manage supplier project activity according to Company project plans.
2. Negotiate supply management design/details to achieve desired business financial results such as cost reduction, lead-times, and inventory.
Other :
> Directly reports to the sourcing managers. Indirectly report to local management.
> Travel is required. Most travel within Romania, but occasional travel to the Company’s locations will also be required.
> Use e sourcing solution like ARIBA.
> Attractive bonus based on results paid each 6 months.
