Conceptual Designer

We are looking for a new Conceptual Designer colleague to join our Development Department. Does prototyping, paradigm, user interaction, optimization take part of your daily vocabulary? Join our team if fun at work, traveling and plenty of clever products to work on also sound like something you want do.

If you have:
… several years experience as an interface architect, concept or UX / Interaction Designer
… strong creativity, structured thinking and abstraction
… good sense of innovative user interface concepts and paradigms of interaction
… extensive knowledge of current web technologies, standards and conceptual & visual design trends
… proper use of the common software tools such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office or Axure RP
… experience with designing concepts for mobile devices
… basic knowledge of web standards like HTML5 and CSS3
… openness to learn and work with new technologies
… an open mind to employees’ opinions, suggestions or criticism
… ability to successfully follow through in the face of resistance and difficulties
… excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Would be a plus:
… organizational skills, high service orientation and team skills
… university degree in computer science or similar media
… readiness to travel abroad
… knowledge of German language

You will …
… be responsible for the analysis and specification of use cases based on project orders, user personas and scenarios;
… develop user-centered interfaces and processes using rapid prototyping tools;
… take part in creating User Centered Design Guidelines (processes and interaction behavior) together with our peers in Germany;
… take responsibility for the conceptual design, prototyping, clear communication and verification of the correct implementation of your concept;
… prepare, implement and evaluate usability tests.

You will be responsible with new development of concept, expansion and consolidation of the existing application and will work in close collaboration with product management, development teams and other departments from Romania or Germany.

And, most important of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic ePublishing Applications Romania development team.
