BUSINESS ANALYST (ABU DHABI)

WHAT WE EXPECT:

- at least 8-10 years experience in IT with a large company or consultancy or in business operational role in Airline/Travel/Corporate sector
- at least 3-4 years experience of business analysis –including business case preparation, business process analysis, system requirements analysis, test requirements analysis
- formal training/qualification in UML methods and tools
- understanding of various IT project delivery/SDLC approaches
- knowledge of testing methods and tools
- good knowledge of current and up and coming technologies
- domain knowledge of Airline/Travel, Corporate (Finance, HR etc), Dotcom (preferably from Travel, Retail, Banking sector) with deep understanding of at least one of these

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- will facilitate creation of initial and full business case assessments for programmes and projects
- will prepare financial analysis evaluations including NPV, IRR and show various sensitivity analyses
- assist Business areas in articulating benefits and benefits realization plans
- prepare technical evaluations of alternative solutions and recommend project delivery approach
- will prepare high level costings (one-time and ongoing) by obtaining estimates and information from Client departments and external suppliers (RFIs)
- analyse and document business process models (as is and to be) using UML modelling techniques and tools
- will analyse and document business requirements for new IT systems and services, prioritising according to business importance
- assist business areas in identifying potential IT opportunities exploiting use of new technologies
- analyse and document test requirements

- to be accountable for analysing business cases, business processes and new system requirements for assigned programmes/projects
