Procurement Specialist

University degree (preferably in technical/economic)
Fluent in English (mandatory), another European language is a plus
Very good knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Ms Excel); experience in using SAP is a must/plus
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in purchasing or trade within a dynamic environment
Proven experience in working under deadlines, prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities
Experience in conducting cost – benefits analysis
Excellent communication skills, proactive approach.
Effective prioritization of activities. Focus on quality
Good analytical abilities – analytical thinking,
Ability to work autonomously as well as in team

He/she will deal with a portfolio of categories (such as HR operations, Commercial, IT operations) and will work closely with the Buyer to ensure alignment of priorities, goals and related activities.
Keeps him/her updated with category market, on cost model & specifications
Analyzing the market for potential suppliers for the allocated area making recommendations to internal customers, posessing an excellent understanding of stakeholders objectives
He/she will place RFPs/RFQs, organizes Tenders at Buyer’s request, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, makes recommendations
Ensures timely submission and accuracy of related reports; monitors KBI’s related to purchasing
Responsible with suppliers evaluation, mitigation of risks & claims.
Issuing the purchase orders and tracks the flow until obtaining approval according to procedures
Selecting suppliers in order to organize tenders
Negotiating contracts for the allocated purchasing projects
Design & implement strategies for the category of commodities by optimizing costs and quality of services
