Senior Reporting Accountant/Assistant Controller

University degree ( graduated economic studies)
• Work experience of 1-2 years in reporting within a company that reports IAS/IFRS or in an accounting/audit firm
• Studies ACCA ( or similar)
• Good PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• English language command ( written and spoken)
• Ability to respect the reporting deadlines
• Active, team oriented person

• Support for Controller on reporting activity and procedures updating; insuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Preparation of NBR statutory financial statements (with input from Chief Accountant) and reports required under the Romanian legislation (NBR)
• Preparation of the IFRS financial statements and reports and and analysis of results
• Support in preparation of monthly financial reports US GAAP, according to group rules, and analysis of results
• Working with internal and external auditors
• Study of the standards applied on reporting IFRS / US GAAP / RAS and informing the management about the major changes that affect the activity of the company
• Revising the reporting internal procedures according to changes in Romanian legislation, IFRS, US GAAP and according to the new types of company transactions
• Support for Controller in proposing improvements / changes in existing internal procedures and in system to improve efficiency, to insure controls are in place and covenants are met
