Legal Counsel

At least 5 years business law expertise, out of which at least 2 years in banking;
Positive recommendation from at least one reputable senior lawyer;
Legal experience in consumer banking is a major asset;
Excellent knowledge of banking legislation, especially on consumer bank;
Must have good interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Romanian;
Excellent analytical thinking and ability to pay high attention to details, set priorities and work under pressure;
Creative, hard working, flexible and with initiative;
Exquisite Customer Service;
Good computer skills;
University Degree in Law from a reputable Law School

Provides legal advice to business units, with main dedication to consumer bank.
Prepares and reviews legal contracts, tailoring same to specific terms and conditions.
Prepares/revises standard documentation jointly with outside counsel.
Reviews of all Product Programs from legal perspective.
Prepares and maintains corporate governance documents.
Organizes and conducts briefings/training sessions on new legislation and other legal issues.
Stays informed on all legal issues affecting the Bank and its various businesses.
Acts as liaison with external counsel and Group Legal Office.
