Data Processing Specialist

As an ideal candidate, you have:
• Degree in Sociology, Statistics or equivalent
• Preferably 2 years experience in a Market Research environment
• Good knowledge of SPSS (Quantum/Wincross/Excel is a plus)
• A plus: experience in methods like Conjoint Analysis, Discrete Choice Modelling or Multiple and Logistic Regression
• Good with Microsoft Word and Access
• Time management, priorities management and marketing skills essential
• Team and customer oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• High Level of professionalism and integrity and motivation
• Excellent English language skills, spoken and written are required

As a memeber of the Data Processing team, your main duties will be:
• Data Preparation: Data entry, cleaning, coding, aggregation, merging and summarization
• Process data file in ASCII /DBF/ XLS /SPSS (.SAV) or any other format with the questionnaire and tab plan
• Report data inconsistencies, if any and then clean the data to make it consistent across data sources by merging data from different formats
• Work with Open Ended Coding: full listings of open-ended questions are made by Cross-Tab’s coding department
• Tabulation done using Quantum, SPSS, Wincross, etc. Standard outputs include cross tabulation, pivot tables, and row and column percent
• Handle hierarchical data and complex weighting
• Perform Factor Analysis & Market Segmentation
• Define the details related to the Data Processing, like plan, time line, resource required and potential roadblock
• Closely liaise with all Operations teams and keep control of the project status by coordinating all parts involved at all time

For the enhancement of our Data Processing Team for Online Surveys we are seeking a Data Processing Specialist.
This role includes the overall responsibility of the data processing & analysis of market research data utilizing a wide variety of statistical methods, multivariate analysis supported with statistical tests, using the industry standard packages and tools such as Quantum, SPSS, Wincross and others.
