1. DRILLING ENGINEERS


Work Location: Saudi Arabia, Eastern Province (office-based)

Reports: Drilling Manager
Scope of work:
Preparation of Drilling and Workover programs.
Functions:
To perform the following:
- Casing design, mud design, cement design;
- Bit program, hydraulic program;
- Cost estimation of Drilling and Workover programs;
- Tackle day-to-day drilling operations to migrate risk with direct contact with field drilling supervisor;
- Witness critical field jobs (cementing, stimulations, perforations, frac, flow tests)
- Collects and analyze offset well data;
- Recommend solution to solve critical situations;
- Introduce state-of-the-art technology to ensure efficient drilling operations at low cost per foot;
- Performing economical analysis;
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize the well planning and execution;

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Professional designation/certificate is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum relevant working experience - 10 years;
- Oil and gas industry experience, preferably in onshore operations - 10 years;
- Excellent command of oral and written English;

Other requirements:
 Availabilty 24 hours/7 days a week
IT Skills:
- PC routine user of Microsoft Office


2. DRILLING SUPERINTENDENTS

Work Location: Well Locations

Reports: Drilling Manager
Scope of work:
Directs and supervises the overall drilling activities while ensuring safe and efficient execution of the drilling program.
Functions:
To perform the following:
- Coordinate the overall Drilling activities;
- Ensure Contractors and Company compliance with safety rules and guidelines;
- Conduct frequent rig visits and inspection to assure operations conform to plans
- Review and approves the drilling programs;
- Evaluate and approves the drilling programs;
- Evaluate efficiency of operations, review and revise procedures as deemed necessary;
- Plans and implements improvements to avoid unfavorable hydrocarbon release and/or blowouts;
- Resolve difficult and critical job related situations;
- Make decision under emergency operating conditions regarding actions to be taken in solving problems and protecting the crew, rig and well;
- Review drilling contracts and ensure compliance to international standards;
- Assist drilling supervisors in decision making;
- Coordinate and conduct frequent rig inspections;
- Coordinate and conduct disaster/safety drills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering.
Qualifications:
- Minimum relevant working experience - 12 years;
- Oil and gas industry experience, preferably in onshore operation - 10 years;
- Minimum 5 years in drilling supervisory position;
- Excellent command of oral and written English;
IT Skills:
- PC user of Microsoft Office

3. DRILLING RIG SUPERVISORS

Work Location: Well Locations

Reports: Drilling Manager
Scope of work:
Organization and supervising the execution of drilling related operations at well site.
Functions:
To perform the following:
- Perform safe and efficient drilling operations;
- Comply with the drilling program procedures;
- Witness all cementing, testing, coring, fishing, sidetracking operations;
- Witness and supervises all well control issues;
- Directs the drilling contractors to adhere to the safety guidelines;
- Minimize rig lost time;
- Recommend process improvement;
- Share concerns and highlight problems to the office;
- Plan, coordinate and prepare equipment and mud materials ahead of time;
- Collaborate with the drilling engineer;
- Coordinate and work together with the service companies;
- Prepare the daily drilling report;
- Report directly to the superintendent.
Education Requirements:
- Professional designation/certificate is a plus;
- Degree is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum relevant working experience - 10 years;
- Oil and gas industry experience, preferably in onshore operations - 10 years;
- Excellent command of oral and written English;
IT Skills:
- PC routine user of Microsoft Office

4. HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE) ENGINEERS


Work Location: Saudi Arabia office or well locations

Reports to: Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Scope of work:
- Support of activities (seismic, drilling and production), implemented in accordance with regulatory requirements on safety, occupational health and environment protection.

Functions:
- Certification of HSE Management System;
- Processing of norms and permits on industrial and fire safety;
- Processing of environment protection norms and permits;
- Performance of Risk Identification and Assessment;
- Practical classes and drills at facilities;
- Emergency drills;
- Accidents investigation and reporting;
- Development of HSE training programs company’s employees;
- Preparation of materials on local HSE legislation analysis;
- Maintenance of HSE Statistics;
- Contractors audit.

Education:
- Bachelor degree in HSE or petroleum engineering;
- Professional designation/certificates is a plus.

Qualification:
- Relevant working experience - 3 years;
- Oil and gas industry experience - 5 years;
- Excellent command of oral and written English.

5. Well Site Construction Engineers

Work Location: Well Locations

Reports: Deputy Drilling Manager
Scope of work:
Design and supervises the execution of the skid road and well pad in block A.
FUNCTIONS:

To perform the following:
• Design access roads and well pads
• Interact with well site construction contractor as well as Drilling Dept.
• Review current technical specs of the roads and well pad design and recommend improvements.
• Ensure contractor’s compliance to the contract
• Supervise & witness all constructions operations on location.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum bachelor civil engineering degree.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Has good knowledge of civil/earth work and construction
Minimum relevant working experience - 5 years;


6. Wellsite Geologists

Work Location: Well Locations

Qualification:
- Relevant working experience - 3 years;
- Oil and gas industry experience - 5 years;
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
