Trade Execution Forwarder

Knowledge, experience and technical skills:

• University Degree in Economics or Agriculture
• Minimum 2 years commercial work experience, experience in supply chain/logistics is a plus
• Verbal and written local and English language
• Understanding of the market and commercial practices
• Ability to recognize cost savings /money making opportunities
• Accuracy /high level of attention to details
• Basic accrual management and month end procedures
• Knowledge of ERP system and Microsoft office
• Gafta/ Fosfa contracts, Incoterms is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Validating relevant commodity and freight contracts to have the right understanding in place to optimize the execution part;
• Issuing contractual notices in agreed timelines to enable execution within contract terms
• Issuing documentary instructions and processing delivery documents for payment and cargo release
• Arranging 3rd party service providers for freight, protection of weight and quality risk
• Checking stocks inventory
• Issuing load orders/fixings for domestic movements in line with pipeline plans and contractual terms;
• Issuing sale invoices according to legal requirements;
• Communicating customer delivery requirements and supply availability to pipeline planner to ensure customer satisfaction at lowest possible cost
• Maintaining service quality index scorecard and complaint tools in line with local customer account plans for measuring our performance and creating customer solutions
• Processing contract applications and accruals into internal software for accounting/month end purposes to fully reflect execution decisions
• Checking contract balances regularly
• Checking and recording documents (invoices, dispatch notes, ajg,b/l’s, commercial correspondence) as per legal and fiscal requirements;
• Checking invoices and annexes in order to justify the amounts paid (quantity, price, exchange rate, etc) and follow payment process;
• Provide reports related to trade execution (volumes, costs, operation, productivity, etc).
• Maintaining and developing customer/supplier relationships to become the partner of choice
