Senior Accountant

- Diploma/Bachelor degree in Accounting (or related field) - a University background, with an accounting/economics degree
- At least 5 years of professional experience (accounting, financial analysis, treasury and business analysis)
- Good knowledge of SAP and experience in financial systems implementation is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with foreign language proficiency
- Romanian native speaker. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must

- Be self-starter, quick learner with strong networking & communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to build trusting relationships externally and internally
- Show a high level of energy and dedication and strongly results oriented

Role:
The Senior Accountant will be in charge of implementing and supervising all accounting and finance procedures in compliance with Romanian legislation and company's internal policies.

Key activities:
- Responsible for statutory and corporate reporting
- Supervise Accounting function (1 junior accountant)
- Perform monthly reconciliation of the books
- Process more advanced booking when necessary
- Liquidity management
- Cooperate with internal Audit. Responsible for the implementation of procedures in line with company's policies (TER, procurement…)
- Internal Control rules guarding
- Supervise Office administration
- Lead of the implementation of SAP
