PHP Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced PHP developer. You will be responsible for a mix of new software development as we seek to expand the capabilities of our existing product lines. As well, you will also work on our existing software application to provide customizations, enhancements or fixes.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with cutting-edge WEB 2.0 technologies to build innovative software
• Build high-quality prototypes that would eventually be assimilated into a released product
• Proactive research on new trends and directions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years PHP programming experience with a LAMP stack
• Substantial experience in client-side coding using HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Ajax
• Experience with XML-based API calls
• Familiarity with modern agile development methodologies
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills
• Ability to scope new projects and deliver quality on time
• Ability to creatively plan and solve problems
• Clear communications in writing
• Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment
• Work well under pressure and able to meet aggressive deadlines

Strong considerations (nice-to-haves)

• Experience with Smarty template engine
• Experience building multi-language website using Gettext
• Experience customizing the FCKeditor
• Experience in email marketing
• Experience with Quality Assurance (methodology and technologies)
