RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Skills we are looking for:
Strong .NET knowledge, (Language1 and/or language2)
SQL Server 2000/2005 (Data base design, Complex stored procedures, views)
Data access layer
ADO.NET (Typed Datasets, data tables)
State management and optimizing skills
Knowledge of XML manipulating classes
CSS and good compliant html
Javascript and dhtml and xml
AJAX experience is a must and a desire to become very strong in this area
SQL 2000 and 2005 with excellent knowledge of stored procedures
Knowledge of System Security namespace, compute hash, encrypt, decrypt AES SHA etc..
We use a lot of components and controls that are 3rd party. We dont expect you to be an expert at these now but we expect you to learn them quickly and be ready to use them on most solutions we build. These include Telerik.com controls and Infragistics.com controls. We will also want you to begin exploring Atlas Framework (
Deploying and configuring your applications on a windows server
Debugging legacy systems and other peoples code
Helping other members of the team find better ways to do things in their own systems, almost like a mentor.
Any e-commerce integration would be a bonus for us so please let us know about your experience here, not required.
Any enterprise integration like SAP or Sharepoint or Biztalk not required but we are interested to know about anything really unique that you have to offer.
Projects you will work on
Simple website systems that have forms with logins with add/edit/delete users with some grid view of the data.
Complex systems like custom CMS systems, portal and document management systems
Auction systems
Your Job
On a daily basis you will keep us updated as to the progress of a project that you are working on. We like to work with you on MSN chat so we can get instant feedback to questions or reviews. We will discuss scope of projects and get ideas with you and other members of our team. We will create project timelines together and be thinking constantly of how to make better solutions for our customers. Often we will provide all gui and layouts to you as images or just basic html. You will takes these mockups and make them into the code, so you dont have to be a graphics person but you do have to be good at css and good layouts cause we are usually very specific on table colors and fonts etc.. We will usually tell you the controls we would like to use in areas of the systems and show samples of how they work or how we will make them look. Basically we want you to be really good and not need us to point out that we dont like frames and poor layouts or cell padding. We like clean code that can be looked at by others to learn from. We like if you read sites like Ajaxian daily to learn about new cool ways to use javascript and ajax and .net and sql.
