BROKER FOR MARITIME AND FLUVIAL TRANSPORTS

The ideal candidate will be fully experienced in all aspects of sea and river transports, gained from within either a logistics or freight forwarding environment

- English is a must. Additional, German AND Turkish would be an advantage
- A detailed list with carriers is a must. Additional, client portfolio would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of the transports market
- Knowledge of all the operational procedures in respect of maritime and fluvial transports
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Solid IT skills
- Highly organized with a rigorous approach to details
- A team player with very good communication skills; self-motivated, "can do” attitude

-Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new clients
-Negotiating & following up the transports contracts with carriers
-Monitoring from beginning to the end, from the consignee to the receiver the transport process
-Verifying the documents received and issuing the invoices
-actualizing all the time (once per month) the list for the clients and carriers/ suppliers
-Other general office duties
