Our client is an important telecom operator on the romanian market.
- Implements the various configurations required by the supplier and internal clients into the database and ensures that program requirements and systems specifications are followed closely. This involves creating tables, indexes, etc. according to the Data Architect's specifications and requirements, as well as acting as a technical resource to the Data Architect team and to the Systems Analysts in the department.
- Works with the Systems Supplier and Systems Administrator to develop, implement and test plans, test the data base design, prepare systems documentation and troubleshoot any problems that may arise. These tests are conducted to ensure that flexibility of the application/platform is captured and that the specified architectural specifications set out for the database are met. The key focus is to provide the highest quality standards reliably, and consistently.
- Assists in database maintenance in areas such as access methods and times, validation checks, protection and security, documentation guidelines, statistical methods and database dictionaries. Should overall monitor standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database designs. The key focus is to maintain and enhance the integrity of the database.
- Specifies the information necessary to implement the production system by documenting such areas as database configuration, creating tables and indexes gaining access, creating backup files and recovering lost data.
