Senior Wireless Engineer

- University degree;
- Field related experience – 1 – 2 years;
- A comprehensive understanding of GSM, UMTS network specifications and other wireless technologies (i.e. SIP, IMS, CAMEL), of SS7, and IP signalling protocols;
- Experience in Value Added Services over wireless technologies will be a plus;
- Knowledge in telecom, Unix, NT computing environments and associated supporting H/W platforms;
- Knowledge in Project Management; Word, Spreadsheet, Graphics, Project Management, Customer Service, Communication, Analytical;
- Good English knowledge.

Main role:

Delivers integrated solutions for New Services targeting external customers. Performs project management in relation to new services and technology development.

Key responsibilities:

- Analyses new services and systems and finds technical solutions to implement them; assesses the implementation impact on the current networks.
- Proactively proposes new services, trials and prototypes.
- Captures requirements, assists the internal clients to define the functional specifications for the proposed services and applications.
- Leads the project from the technical perspective (keep the project plan, adjust procedures).
- Produces documents like Request for Information, Request for Proposal, Evaluation Matrix, Integration Plans, Handover agreements.
- Organizes bids for vendor selection, sets agreements and contracts.
- Conducts Acceptance Tests for supplied services.
- Analyses new technologies and service models and writes reports and recommendations.
- Performs the hand-over of the projects to Operational departments.
- Produces network integration procedure for the introduction of new value added services systems or for the enhancement of existing value added services.
