Chief Operating Officer

• 2 to 5 years experience in a product line management role (project manager, general management) for a high growth technology firm /entrepreneurial endeavor;
• Demonstrated performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence;
• Distinctive problem solving and analytic skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with highly technical management team;
• Emphatic character – capacity to connect with people;
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or other technical field preferred;
• Experience in the software, internet, media, or fast-paced technology start-up industries strongly preferred;
• Work experience and keen understanding of the web development methodologies required (Scripting languages, Databases, Dynamic HTML and Ajax);
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and instinct for revenue-generating activities;
• Fluency in English and Romanian. Outstanding presentation skills in both languages;
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

• Act as a bridge for the company vision between the upper and middle management;
• Understand the market and provide innovative solutions for clients’ needs;
• Coach the middle management to use proven software development methodologies;
• Supervise the middle management to release products in time and quality;
• Improve the company internal organizational chart;
• Document work processes;
• Manage budgets per department;
• Supervise employee hiring and training;
• Embody company's cultural values and client-oriented approach.
