Repossession / Stock Coordinator - automotive industry

On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of heavy duty trucks, buses and coaches, we are looking for a professional to fill in the position of:

Repossession/Stock Coordinator

Location: Bucharest
Reports to: General Manager
Subordinates: No

Responsibilities:
Repossession Stock Control (50%):
• Supervising and keeping control of the repairs done on the repossessed vehicles and negotiating with the workshop on amount and proper execution.
• Administrating the physical stock of repossessed vehicles.
• Proper documentation and reporting of the repossessed vehicles, including internal and group reporting.
• Using company tools to calculate repossessed units transfer price.
Collection and repossession (20%):
• Establish meetings with customers when documents are missing after
repossession.
• Participate for repossession of units.
Customs and registration (30%):
• Taking care of all documents for custom clearance and for registration of all new and second hand trucks which are financed by the company.
• Storing documents and spare keys for repossessed vehicles.
• Develop and improve the routines for customs and registration routines.

Requirements:
• Technical degree, preferably University level in Road Vehicles.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar position.
• Technical knowledge and experience in truck business.
• Stock logistics.
• Customs experience.
• Basic financing knowledge.
• Duties involving solving of problems of an administrative, analytical and/or creative character such as:
• Main technical problems related to the stock of repossessed trucks, alone or together with the workshop colleagues.
• To find how to do when e.g. the customs authorities reject an application for to close a temporary import.
• Good English language skills.
