Carrier Capacity Manager - transport industry

On behalf of our client, an important player on logistic and transportation international market, we are looking for a young and entrepreneurial candidate for a start up business and in Romania as a Carrier Capacity Manager.

- 4 years experience with pan-European European transportation planning and purchasing processes focussed on buying transportation trucking capacity in South East Europe for pan-European transportation;
- Excellent knowledge of European transportation suppliers in South East Europe;
- Knowledge of transportation law, licences, driving hours, environmental requirements and driving bans;
- University degree education (technical and/or management study profile);
- Very good computer skills;
- Knowledge of the English language;
- Convincing, tact and issue resolving;
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills;
- Results orientated and strong management abilities.

- Development of a carrier/ supplier strategy specifically to South East Europe;
- Develop business activities, build and maintain excellent client relationships with client/ agents/ partners etc.
- Identify new business and growth opportunities to help grow and expand current company operations; maintaining and creating sales plans;
- Develop and maintain relationships with the carrier base;
- Managing all administrative carrier management processes (concerning rates, carrier reporting and claims from and to the carriers);
- Effectively maintaining a strong collaborating and communication with the internal and external customers;
- Optimizing office managing processes;
- To manage and grow the sales and service organization in a client oriented environment;
- Build and maintain critical business partnerships both externally and internally with key stakeholders and outsourced service partners.
