JSP Developer

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education
• Minimum education of bachelors (4 year degree) or equivalent experience with UI developent
• 3-5 years of designing and developing web user interfaces
• JavaScript, HTML, XML, Struts, JSP, CSS
• Demonstrable development skills in both web and desktop applications
• Ability to develop clean, functional, and sophisticated user interfaces
• Strong knowledge of common UI design principles.
• Work knowledge of product life cycle process
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and team skills
• Well versed in cross browser programming issues
• Ability to function in highly fluid environment with aggressive deadlines

Summary
The JSP Developer will work collaboratively with cross-functional team, Product Engineering (development), Product Management, PS, Sales and Marketing. S/he will be involved in product development throughout the product life cycle. As a JSP Developer, s/he will be responsible for developing and refining coding concepts, producing prototypes for evaluation and communication, developing UI specifications, and advocating the designs through the implementation process. The JSP Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing and integrating the front-end and the back-end applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Gauging the usability of new and existing part of the application, and making constructive suggestions for change.
• Integration of html and javascript code with existing jsp templates and creation of JSP templates.
• Creation of javascript functionality to be embedded in the product
