Project Manager

Civil/Electro-Mechanical Engineer with experience in water/wastewater field specially in wastewater treament plant /water treatment plant.
Working knowledge of various Conditions of Contract, especially Fidic Design and Plant Build – “New Yellow Book”.
Written contractual communication in English and Romanian
Verbal communication in English and Romanian
Computer literate

To supervise the design, construction, commissioning and putting to work of Calafat wwtp to ensure that is completed in the most efficient manner to the specification, within the time required and within the tender estimate without risk to the health and safety of all concerned while ensuring good customer satisfaction.
Contract Management

• Establish the project management strategy
• Review and ensure the contract requirements are satisfied
• Co-ordinate the involvement of the internal service departments
• Monitor the performance of each phase of the contract
• Establish the channels of communication
• Establish and monitor the contract and progress programme and reports
• Establish and monitor the scope change system
• Establish filing system to be used and monitor to ensure up to date
• Assist the production of O&M manuals
• Organise a contract performance review on completion and provide feedback
• Arrange for the appropriate contract files to be archived in Romania
• Resolve Customer complaints and obtain Customer feedback on performance
• Minimise the exposure to risk by reviewing on a regular basis
• Organise and monitor the contract Take-over
• Promote the Company at all times
Design
• Co-ordinate with the Istanbul /Bucharest office of contract requirements relating to design
• Co-ordinate with the Istanbul/Bucharest office of progress of design requirements
• Control the receipt, approval and issue of contract related design documents
Procurement
• Co-ordinate with the Istanbul/Bucharest office responsible for the purchase requisitions
• Co-ordinate with the Istanbul/Bucharest office responsible for purchase orders and sub-contracts
Financial
• Monitor the progress of Applications for Payment to optimise Cash flow
• Assist the CM with the control of contract variations
• Assist the CM to prepare monthly trading reports
• Assist the CM to prepare a contract review on a quarterly basis
• Assist the CM to produce the contract final account

• Assist Contract Manager to ensure project variance is to budget
• Assist Contract Manager to ensure project turnover variance is to budget

• Assist Contract Manager to ensure project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
• Assist Contract Manager to ensure all applications for payment are made on or before the due date and are maximised
• Assist Contract Manager to ensure contract reviews, monthly forecasts are completed and submitted on time
• Assist Contract Manager to ensure that equipment and materials are procured at best value within specifications
• Assist Contract Manager to ensure the proper identification and evaluation of variations and claims

Customer
• Maintain good client relationships at all levels
• Ensure projects are completed on time; • Maintain the Company’s reputation on site by ensuring good relationships are maintained with main contractor and suppliers.
