Windows GUI Software Engineer

Job description:

- Understand project requirements and contribute to technical and functional specifications
- Produce high quality software design to meet specification
- Implement functionality to specification, schedule and high quality, ensuring that the functionality integrates into the large-scale solution
- Work closely with technical leads and other engineers within the team to solve cross-component issues
- Help to drive innovation of the design and code to improve its overall quality, reliability and speed of implementation
- Contribute to design reviews to ensure satisfaction of requirements and long-term application quality
- Contribute to code reviews on own and others' code to provide a high-quality, maintable source code base
- Create automated test harnesses to facilitate initial and regression integration testing of the application's software components to established standards
- Highlight any issues that need to be addressed to the relevant development lead
- Adhere to and enforce project standards where appropriate
- Monitor and report on progress and exceptions to the team and management
- Build and maintain an effective relationship with team members, other groups and departments.

Requierements:

- Experience in commercial product development
- At least 3 years of experience in C/C++ programming language including STL
- At least 2 years of experience in Windows API and MFC user interface programming
- Knowledge of OLE/COM/ATL technologies
- Good knowledge of English language (read/write)
