Acquisition Manager for Bucuresti

Out client a known retailer no1 in its area is searching for an Acquisition Manager located in Bucharest.

Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree
-Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, in acquisitions;
-Market knowledge about potential suppliers and prices within the related-categories;
-Strong negotiating skills with a history of striking great deals with international suppliers;
-Good mathematical skills and knowledge of the accounting system (optional);
-Established working relationships with relevant suppliers;
-Knowledge of Romanian trade restrictions and rules;
-Outstanding communication skills;
-A good team leader and team player;
-Excellent skills in written and spoken business English;
-Additional language knowledge;
-Possess a working knowledge of Windows XP, Word and Excel;
-“Can do” attitude.

Main responsibilities:
-Responsibilities concerning the negotiating, ordering, pricing, blanket orders, contracts and documentation;
-Identifying suppliers and setting up contracts with producers, wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers for purchasing of all required auction items;
-Leading the ongoing negotiations of purchasing and payment conditions with our suppliers;
-To insure timely delivery as required for departmental and company needs;
-Ensuring that our winners get their goods delivered promptly;
-Responsibility for data input and maintenance within our system;
-Support and coordinate the acquisition team in identifying profitable product opportunities.
