CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

- Graduated in Finance / Accounting
- ACCA certificate is an advantage
- At least 5 years experience in accounting and/or operational and corporate financial reporting and analysis
- At least 2 years experience in a coordination position within Finance / Accounting
- Previous exposure to international working environment within a multinational company
- Experience in an ERP environment. SAP key user experience is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of finance and accounting legislation
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong organizing abilities, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage

We offer you a challenging start up position: Chief Accountant within the Romanian branch of BearingPoint. You will set up the basis of the Finance and Accounting Department and you will be responsible for all finance and accounting processes.

Main Responsibilities:

- Builds the structure and the processes of the Finance and Accounting Department
- Performs the monthly and yearly closing process.
- Prepares and monitors Finance budget. Performs cash flow planning.
- Participates in the SAP implementation in the Finance and Accounting Department taking into consideration both group and local reporting requirements.
- Ensures the compliance with all statutory, financial and corporate requirements, including SOX.
- Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis, as required, to the members of Finance & Accounting community and also to Senior Leadership.
- Maintains personal interest and awareness of local and EU legislation and implement it as appropriate.
- Provides professional consultancy to local and foreign management of the Company
- Develops cross functional relationship with other departments and other BearingPoint subsidiaries
- Contributes to the recruitment, training, motivation and retention of the potential Finance team members.
