SHOP MANAGER - Luxury Jewelry

We are currently looking for an experienced luxury brand management candidate for the position of SHOP MANAGER.

The purpose of this role is to create a unique shopping experience by developing close personal relationships with all of the customers-potential one-time buyers, or long-term locally based clients who will become repeat-buyers.

The role of the Shop Manager is to confidently identify the tastes and habits of the client network to ensure they are fully informed whilst ensuring all new product lines are passively marketed throughout the network.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare marketing materials for the product lines;
- Display all merchandise in an attractive and effective manner;
- Identify the needs of clients and provide realistic solutions’
- Develop strong relations with customers and neighboring retail outlets within the hotel;
- Monitor the competition – prices, lines and availability;
- Ensure the shop assistants’ are fully briefed and trained;
- Be aware of the market – trends, styles, celebrities and news.

Requirements:

- Previous ‘luxury’ brand, concept or service experience is imperative;
- Committed to selling and identifying any means to ‘sell’;
- Strong market knowledge of ‘who’ the target audience will be;
- Creative thinker, able to implement innovative marketing and sales strategies, and ways of exciting employee and customer enthusiasm, all while maintaining a professional image consistent with the image of the store;
- Solid networking experience;
- Ability to communicate at ‘all levels’ irrespective of financial position or relationship to the business;
- Ability to manage a team and create a strong bond and image consistent with the brand – polished and professional;
