Senior Regional Procurement Manager for Manufacturing Equipment, Timisoara

On behalf of one of the largest global players in the market we are searching for a highly qualified and experienced Regional Procurement Manager for Manufacturing Equipment, managing the region of Europe, based on-customer-site in Timisoara.

To fulfill this role and its complex requirements, its essential for the candidate to clearly demonstrate:

- Indirect or Direct (Production) sourcing category experience including manufacturing equipment; 'an expert in this field of procurement';

- Analytical skills - able to identify savings within category across multiple customer divisions/plants;

- Broad knowledge of procurement application tools, ie. reverse auctions, spend analysis opportunity techniques;

- Excellent client / customer service skills, including communciation, presentation, problem-solving qualities;

- Able to manage and solve multiple tasks simultaneously;

- Strong competencies within Office - Word, Project, Excel, PP, Access);

- Independent worker, with self-motivation and drive;

- Flexible and willing to travel across Europe, more notably Hungary and the UK;

This position is responsible for the Manufacturing Equipment Indirect Procurement Category and associated deliverables on behalf of its major customer, based across Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

- Spend, Business Requirements & Market Analysis;
- Category Strategy Development - regional & country specific;
- Oversee tactical sourcing execution;
- Work closely with sourcing council and global category leader to identify a strategy that is appropriate to the customers's environment, selling that vision to the customer;
- Act as the primary interface with the customer in Europe;
- Report to the customer on procurement category project status, issues and corrective actions;
- Overall project management of the assigned procurement deliverables on the contract;
- Develop creative sourcing solutions to client requirements.
