Investment Banking Analyst

This role requires somebody who is keen to learn and develop professionally, whilst utilising their existing experience and skills. A real team-player, the selected candidate will be exposed to high level business partnerships whilst working alongside some of the most highly respected business professionals in Romania.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

 Previous experience of working with one of the Big 4 (auditing);
 OR previous banking experience in an investment/corporate finance environment;
 Strong financial modeling experience (excel);
 Ability to analyse company accounts;
 Experienced in preparing and writing documents in English;
 Experienced in compiling written reports and presenting the content in English:

 Ability to develop existing skills in a relatively short period with the coaching, support and assistance of the existing Consulting Team;
 An effective Executor – focused, diplomatic, serious;
 An effective Communicator – comprehensive, open and sincere;

 Strong IT Skills – Excel, Word, Internet;
 Available to travel within Romania when required;
 A team-player with the ability to work independently and be self-motivating;
 Confident, mature with strong social skills.

Focusing primarily on the local region, the company is in the process of rapid expansion having been mandated for a number of highly prestigious banks. Working alongside the Managing Partner, an international Merchant Banker with over 10 years of experience inside Romania, the Investment Banking Analyst will be respsonsible for four key areas – developing business plans and financial models, raising debt and equity financing for clients, mergers & acquisitions and IPO’s.
