Head of Accounting

On behalf of our client a major player in the leasing market, we are searching for a Head of Accounting, ideally with the following experience:


- 5 years experience in accounting or a similar position (both RAS and IFRS knowledge required)
- strong knowledge of Romanian fiscal law
- certified accountant
- experience in leading and structuring an efficient accounting team
- Experience in managing the relationship with the auditor
- sound IT skills: MS Office, Outlook, WIZ-applications
- good English in writing and speaking
- strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, self motivation
- trustworthy and honest personality
- potential for deputy Finance manager

Reporting to Finance Manager and coordinating the activity of the accounting team, you will be responsible to ensure that the company business standards and objectives are fulfilled, through:

- review and preparation of statutory RAS and IFRS accounts;

- preparation and analysis of various internal financial reports and costing reports, cash flow analysis and forecast;

- preparation of reporting package for the Finance Manager and the Board;

- preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts for Group reporting;

- responsible for the relation with the auditors and review of their findings;

- coordinate, supervise, motivate, develop the team members to achieve high quality performance standards;
