Planing and Logistic Manager

- Typically 3 years relevant experience.
- Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth). - Degree.
- Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and lead at least a large team (30+)
- High volume shipping management experience (volume - tens of thousands per day, orders - hundreds per day)
- Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export formalities
- WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience
- SAP R/3 system experience
- Work experience in lean manufacturing and quality management systems
- Optimistic, "can-do/will-do", customer service attitude
- Good communication skills in English and Romanian (written and oral)
- Can operate under pressure and an uncertain environment with multiple priorities, and ability to think on his/her feet
- Values based leadership and management

- Schedule released production orders on production lines within a 48 hour window
- Headcount planning for all time horizons
- Design and control of material flow from the point received from the warehouse through shipping to ensure the right efficiency and line utilization is achieved
- Operational management of the shipping warehouse
- Strive for 100% customer satisfaction
- Maintain high-productivity levels
- Maintain minimal scrap and rework levels
- Achieve a globally competitive cost level by adopting world-class manufacturing practices, and following Nokia values.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed in the department
- Support management to maintain service quality/volume against targets
- Monitor and control discipline and absence in conjunction with personnel
- Audit, control and implement all departmental SOP's
- Drive team working, continuous improvement and problem solving within the department
- Carry out performance reviews for direct reports
- Assure reasonable utilization of human resources within Supply Operations direct reports
- Housekeeping monitored
- Is responsible for keeping confidentiality
